Magazine Telephone Company, Inc., is an Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier that wishes to provide international telecommunications services. Magazine Telephone Company, Inc., has no foreign affiliations. Magazine Telephone Company, Inc., serves residential and business customers in Arkansas. By granting this application, the Commission will serve the public interests, convenience and necessity by promoting competition in the international services market. Competition will benefit U. S. consumers by increasing service options and lowering prices through competition. Thus, the public interest will be served by the grant of Section 214 authority to Magazine Telephone Company, Inc.
