Declaration for IC and FCC Label Exemption for Sonic Innovations Inc. hearing aid module With reference to Industry Canada, RSP-100 issue 11 chapter 3 Certification of Radio Apparatus and KDB 784748 D01v08 GUIDELINES FOR LABELLING AND USER INFORMATION FOR DEVICES SUBJECT TO PART 15 AND PART 18, Sonic hereby declare an exemption regarding the labelling of the IC and FCC certification number on the Aurora BTE power wireless hearing aid families. This exception applied also to Sonic affiliated OEMs and private label customers using the Aurora miniRITE 312 T Rc radio module in their hearing aids. The granted exemption for the identical Oticon Aurora miniRITE 312 T Rc radio module under IC and FCC ID 1350B-AUMRTRC and U28AUMRTRC respectively is used for the Sonic exemption declaration. The Sonic IC and FCC certification number: 9799A-SOMRTRC and ZTOSOMRTRC is located next to the device model number in the user manual and/or on the product packaging material. The exemption declaration is based on the fact that the hearing aids will be too small (Final product size 31.0 x 12.7 x 8.2 mm) for the IC and FCC certification number to be legible without the aid of magnification while printed on a surface of the hearing aid not exposed to wear and user functions.
