Columbia, MD 21046 SUBJECT: Class II Permissive Change for FCC ID: ZMOL850GLD-D1, Model: L850-GL This application is to enable the modular ranted under FCC ID: ZMOL850GLD-D1 to be integrated in DELL Portable Computer P96G. This host employs a proximity sensor to control the module’s output power to comply with SAR requirements. As required by KDB 616217, this FCC ID is only for this specific tablet host implementation of sensor and antenna and the FCC ID was obtained via the change in ID process from original FCC ID: ZMOL850GLD on 02-15-2019 for this purpose. We will not, and have not, used this FCC ID for a different host. This filing also addresses co-location with WLAN, BT module FCC ID: PPD-QCNFA344AH or with WLAN, BT module FCC ID: PD99560NG. The Original FCC testing on module under FCC ID: ZMOL850GLD was performed with an antenna of higher gain, and the antenna was connected to the module in an open environment. The current host platform under application uses an antenna with lower gain and is installed inside the host platform enclosure. The physical restraints introduced by the host platform should have resulted in equal or lower levels of radiated emissions. Therefore, additional Radiated emission testing is not necessary.
