Texas Instruments Norway AS Gaustadalléen 21 0349 Oslo Norway (+47) 22 95 85 44 (+47) 22 95 85 46 Technical Description The CC1120EM-868-915 is an evaluation board for the CC1120 RF transceiver chip from Texas Instruments. The board will only function together with the SmartRF Transceiver Evaluation Board (TrxEB) which is included in the CC1120 Development Kit. The CC1120 has a single ended PA output and a differential LNA input. On the CC1120EM-868-915 board these RF inputs and outputs are combined and transformed to a 50 ohm signal through a passive component (capacitor/inductor) balun. The output of the balun is low pass filtered to reduce harmonic radiation and then connected to an SMA connector. The CC1120EM-868-915 board is equipped with an 868 - 928 MHz whip antenna W5017 from Pulse. The antenna gain is 2 dBi.
