Serene Innovations, Inc. 14731 Carmenita Road, Norwalk, CA, USA Tel:(562) 407 5400 Fax: (562) 483 2087 Limited Modular Approval request Letter To Whom It May Concern: We, Serene Innovation, Inc., hereby request limited modular approval for our CA4 Transceiver module (Model Name:CA4 / FCC ID: Z33—CA4) This module complies with the Limited modular approval basic requirements in FCC Part 15 Subpart C Section 15.212 and clearly explained below: 1, Have its own RF shielding: The shielding of the radio portion can be demonstrated in EXHIBIT B External Photo. 2, The modular transmitter have buffered modulation/data inputs, Buffered data inputs stage has been integrated in chip NRF24LO1 by Nordic Semiconductor. 3, The modular transmitter don‘t have its own power supply regulation, The modular transmitter is to be part of a host device and complies with the applicable certification requirements. The power supply regulation is part of the host device and is in all host devices, technical identically. The module will only be implemented in host devices by the manufacturer! 4, Comply with the antenna requirements of Section 15.203 and 15.204(c), the module has a unique antenna. This antenna is an etched antenna pattern on the printed circuit board module. It can not be changed by production staff or end—user. 5, Tested in a stand—alone configuration, the modular transmitter has been performed the testing as a stand alone and then confirmed the compliance. 6, Equiped with either a permanently affixed label or must be capable of electronically displaying its FCC Identification number. FCC ID is shown on the label and permanently affixed to this modular transmitter, please refer to the label drawing. 7, Comply with any specific rules or operating requirements that ordinarily apply to a complete transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions along with the module to explain any such requirements. The necessary explanation to be complied with this requirement is contained in the use manual, and please refers to the Use manual. 8, Comp%ith any applica!
