                                       System User Manual


       The CTR BT 01 Bluetooth interfaces with Raffel Systems power recline controls. It
       allows full connectivity to the end user to control functions of a power recline chair
       using a variety of Bluetooth enabled devices such as cell phones, tablets, and
       laptops.

       Feature Controls:

       Power Head Rest, Lumbar, Recline, and Home
       position

       Memory One – User 1




       System of Components:

       Operation:

       The app to be used with Raffel Systems BLE enabled devices can be downloaded
       from both iTunes and Google Play stores. The app is titled “Raffel Seat” and can be
       seen in Figure 2-1 below:

        This app can be downloaded to any BLE enabled device i.e. cell phones, tablets,
       and laptops.

       To begin operation, enable Bluetooth functionality on your device, then open the
       “Raffel Seat” app shown in Figure 2-1.

       Select the desired device to control from the dropdown menu shown in Figure 3-1
       below:

       Once you have selected your device and are connected, you will see a screen titled
       “Recline.” This screen is used to control the power motion actuators of the chair.
       Depending on the Raffel product connected, you will see either a mix or all of the
       Raffel motion functions including Power Recline, Headrest, Lumbar, Home, Memory
       User 1 and Memory User 2. A more complete description of functionality can be seen
       as follows:

       Head Rest, Lumbar, and Recline Functions

       Depress the desired icon for Head Rest, Lumbar,
       and Recline to either open or close to the desired
       position and release to stop.

       Home icon

       The purpose of the Home icon is to fully reposition
       the Head Rest, Lumbar, and the Recliner to the
       fully seated position.

       Depress and hold the Home icon to reposition the
       chair until fully seated position. Release icon to
       stop at any time.

       Set Memory 1 Position

       Depress the Open and or Close icon to the
       desired position for user 1 for all three functions
       i.e. Head Rest, Lumbar, and Recline. Then
       depress and release the Set icon for Memory 1.
       Chair movement will indicate that Memory 1 has
       been set.

       Press and hold the Home Icon until the chair is in
       the fully seated position. Depress the Memory 1
       Go icon and the chair will reposition to the set
       Memory 1 position automatically.

       Disconnect

       Depress the X in the upper left hand of the screen to disconnect control to the chair;
       upon disconnect, the user will be taken to the screen showing a list of available
       devices (shown in Figure 3-1.

      FCC and IC Statement:

     To comply with FCC RF exposure limits for general population/uncontrolled exposure,
     the antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation
     distance of at least 20cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in
     conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

      To comply with ISED RF exposure limits for general population/uncontrolled exposure,
     the antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation
     distance of at least 20cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in
     conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

      This Device complies with Industry Canada License-exempt RSS Standard(s).
     Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1) this device may not cause
     interference, and 2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that
     may cause undesired operation of the device.




      Note: Modifications to this product will void the user’s authority to operate this
      equipment.

      WARRANTY PAGE

      Limited Warranty
      Raffel Systems, LLC warrants this product (including any accessories) against defects in
      material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of the first consumer
      purchase. This warranty is enforceable only by the original purchaser only. ALL DAMAGED OR
      MISSING PARTS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 14 DAYS OF PURCHASE.

      This warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship in this product, but DOES NOT
      COVER the following.

        1. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:

                 Acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper installation,
                  maintenance, improper operation, or failure to follow the instructions contained in
                  this Owner’s Manual.
                 Any damage in the shipment of the products.(Claims must be presented to the
                  carrier) Repair, attempted repair, or modifications done by anyone other than Raffel
                  System technicians.
                 Any unit which has been modified of attempted to be modified or altered in anyway
                  whatsoever.

        2. Normal wear and periodic maintenance.
        3. Any unit used for industrial or commercial purposes (including rental).
        4. Products sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS, or consumables (such as fuses, batteries,
           etc).
        5. Customer instruction installation and set up adjustments or signal reception problems.
        6. Raffel Systems, LLC will repair or replace (at it's discretion) the units covered by this
           warranty, without charge to the consumer for labor or materials.

            CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE:

           FOR INITIAL SHIPPING CHARGES. However, Raffel Systems will pay the return shipping
            charges to any destination within the USA if repairs are covered by the warranty.
           TO OBTAN WARRANTY SERVICE, please call Raffel Systems Service Center.
           REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE
            EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER. RAFFEL SYSTEMS SHALL NOT BE
            LIABEL FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF
            ANY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT.EXCEPT TO THE
            EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED
            WARRANTIES,INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
            A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LENGTH OF THIS
            WARRANTY.
