The MPE report was cartied out on a sample equipment to demonstrate limited compliance with
FoG GFR 47 Par 2.1001.
The Imits standard is based on the Gouncil Recommendation 1999/519¢EC.

4.2. Test Limits

Systems operating under the provisions of his section shall be operated in a manner that ensures
that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess limit for maximum
permissible exposure. In accordance with 47 CFR FCC Part 2 Subpart J, section 2.1091 this
device has been defined as a mobile device whereby a distance of 0.2m normally can be
maintained between the user and the device.

5.2. Calculation Information
    From the antenna specifications provided by the appleant, the anterna gain is 2 dBin GSM
    838VHz and GSM 1900MHz.


    So for conservative evaluation consideration, only maximum power of each frequency band
    based on the tighter imits respectvely are used to calculate the boundary power density.
    Based on the FCC KDB 447498 DO1 and 47 CFR §2.1091, the DUT is evaluated as a moble
    device.

5.3. Result of GSMBSS
Test Results: MPE Limit Calculation: the EUT‘s operating frequencies @ 824.2 — 848.8 MHz;
             as per he original test report the highest power is GSMB35, Middle channel 190.
             The meximum tune up procedure poweris 220 dBm . The maximum gain is
             20BThe resulted power densityat a distance of 2Gom oan be deducted as folows
              EIRP—35.0+2 =35.0 dBim=31 62.28 mW

    Where Duty Cycle is 0.024 and R is 20m.
   The MFE limit for Occupational/Controlled Exposure is shown in the RCCKDB 447498
   D01 and 47 GFR §2.1091, can be calculated as follows
    MPE limit = 824,2/1500 = 0.549 mW/om‘

    As we can see the resulted power density is below the NPE limit, therefore the DUT
    in this band is compliant with the FCC rules on RF exposure
5.4. Result of GSM1900
Test Results: MPE Limt Calcultion: the EUT‘s operating frequencies @ 1850.2 — 1909.8 MHz:
             as per the original test report the highest poweris GSM 1900, Middle channel 661.
             The maximum tune up procedure power is 30.3 dBm . The masimum aain is 2 dBi.
             The resulted power density at a distance of 20em can be deducted as follows
              EIRP—30.3+2—32.3 dBm—1608.2¢ mW
    Power Density=EIRPDuty Cyole/(4rr R*)—1698.24‘0.004/(4‘r ©207)—0.008 mWiom®
    Where Duty Gycle is 0.024 and R is 20om.

   The MFE limit for Occupational/Controlled Exposure is shown in the RCCKDB 447498
   D01 and 47 GFR §2.1091, can be calculated as follows
    MPE limit = 1. mW/cm‘
    As we can see the resulted power density is below the MFE limit, therefore the DUT
            in this band is compliant with the FCC rules on RF exposure
