Inquiry:
Good morning,

Re: Class II Permissive Change to expand the frequency range by software change on a Limited Single
Modular device.

We have a possible Class II Permissive Change filing to extend the frequency range for Part 90 device from
769.15-770 MHz to 769-775 MHz. The modifications to extend the channel frequencies will be a database
configuration update, and the programming to allow this range to be programmed. There is no HW or firmware
updates required.

Additional Info:

-There is no increase in output power rating on new frequencies.
-The equipment class will remain the same.
-RF exposure changes will be addressed.
-Only FCC Grant holder will allow the ability to implement the extended frequencies in equipment.
-No other changes have been made.
-No end user application can directly control the frequency.
-No modulation or data rate changes have been made.
-Output power will remain the same.

Based on the above information, can we proceed with Class II Permissive Change testing and filing of this
device?

Best Regards,
