Hi, Tri.

Thanks for the input.

We normally follow the setup requirements in C63.4 for FCC testing on PC peripherals. However, this EUT is not qualified
as PC peripheral ( in the "restricted" definition), especially for IC Transceiver certification. The PC in the picture will be for
one of receiving mode configuration. Therefore, minizing "additional " emissions is the proper way to go. Also the monitor
and printer will not affect this EUT's EMC performance based on our investigation except their own emissions which were
identified before and can be excluded. I think this configuration shall be applicable to this application.

Regards,

Wei

Hi Wei:

Refer to ANSI C63.4 test procedure, when the EUT is connected to the PC, the PC must be
set up with minimum configuration: 1 monitor, 1 key board, 1 mouse, 1 printer. Your photos of
test setup does not show this MINIMUM configuration for testing a PC peripheral device per
ANSI C63.4.

Hi, Tri.

Please see the revised report with DoC data ( PC mode) integrated and findings addressed ( in data sections).
All pages are included in this attachment.

Hopefully, this will be the last run for this filing.

Best regards,

Gentlemen,

I have the following items to address before proceeding with the certification;

Certifier’s Report:

Item Certifier’s findings & comments: Problems
   # resolved?

                                                           2

1 FCC-IC-RPT-data-F AC Conducted emissions table showing at least 6 measurement points of
            QP/AVG measurements not present.
2 FCC-IC-RPT-data-F Receiving mode – there is no evidence that a stimulating signal for both
receivers were used to stimulate receiver during radiated and conducted emissions measurements.
The frequency range of receive mode emissions measurement should be specified. There is no
indication if the receive mode tests were conducted while connected to the USB cable. Block
            diagram would be helpful.
3 User Manual and operating description specifies USB port “WZRDchat™ uses a
USB connection to provide a user-friendly PC interface for text messaging and
network monitoring. WZRDchat also allows uploading of GPS

coordinates and modification of node settings. The WZRDchat application serves
as a gateway to a local Personal Computer (PC) and the Internet where
available”. Connection to personal computers require DoC to be applied and the
device should be tested in that mode.
4 FCC-IC-RPT-data-F Table of contents lists setup photos and appendix page 27
&29 yet report. Last page of report states 25 of 37. The report appears
            incomplete.
