And olworgs Cochlear® Date: 38 A(3G 2016 Ref: Justification for placing the FCC ID/ID in the user manual for model CP1000 FCC ID: WTO—CP1000 IC: 8039A¥—CP1000 We, Cochlear Limited, located on 1 University Avenue, Macquarie University, NSW, 2109 Australia, hereby state that there are two main reasons why the device stated above does not have FCC/IC marks: 1) The top and bottom housing can be removed and they are not permanent locations to place the regulatory labels. 2) The only permanent location is too small to have visible text (smaller than 4—6 points) Therefore, FCC ID and the IC information are included in the user manual which will be supplied together with the device.
