1.2.    Operational Description

             This device is a Control Point 1000 included a 908.42 MHz receiving function, and 908.42
       MHz transmitting function. The ControlPoint
             1000 should be connected to your home network and the Internet in order to provide all
       functionalities.
             Connect your ControlPoint 1000 to the local network by using the    included Ethernet
       cable. And connect to an Ethernet hub or directly to your gateway / router ,The USB ports are
       used for certain USB device attachments , if testing the security video recording feature which
       is currently in beta, the USB ports can be used local USB storage, The 1394 ports are reserved
       for your
             future connection to entertainment devices
             Your ControlPoint 1000 is pre-configured to configure its IP address automatically via
       DHCP,which is used in most home networks. Once a local network connection is acquired, the
       ControlPoint 1000 automatically connects to the Portal Server.
             If there is no connection to the Internet – that should be debugged in the existing home
       network environment as ControlPoint 1000 is not a router and does not affect overall
       broadband configuration in any way. Give the unit a few minutes to boot-up, and continue
       reading.
