The device is configured to control the ON/OFF operation of the main burner and provides thermostatic control of the fireplace. Part one Remote Control I. Function of Remote Controller 1. Remote controller sends 433MHz RF signal to make the controller turn on/off gas valve and background light. 2. LCD mode display function: it can show On/Off, temperature setting, ambient temperature, gas valve On/Off, background light On/Off, timing and batteries capacity. 3. Blue-light for LCD and key-press. 4. Lock/Unlock for key-press. 5. Transform between Celsius and Fahrenheit. 6. Remote controller can help user to set temperature, it is also sensitive to the ambient temperature, and can control gas valve On/Off according to ambient and room temperature. 7. Timer off: set OFF time by key-press, length of timing is from 30 minutes to 12 hours 30 minutes. 8. Low battery detector. 9. Change remote controller’s identification code. Fahrenheit Temperature Setting Sign for temperature set Sign for Celsius ON for gas valve Background light Lock /unlock Ambient temperature OFF for gas valve Timer Off Timing Low battery III Key-press of Remote 1. : Increase button- if user want to change set temperature ,press once a time to increase 1 degree; If user want to change set time, press once a time to add 30 minutes; 2. : Reduce button- if user want to change set temperature ,press once a time to reduce 1 degree; If user want to change set time, press once a time to reduce 30 minutes. 3、 ： setting temperature button, it is used to enter enactment the temperature state or confirm enactment the temperature. 4、 ：control button for background light of mainframe. 5、 ：more function key, it must be used together with other keys to achieve the degree choice function, locking/unlocking choice function. 6、 ：timing button, it is used to set the time off . 7、 ：on/off key, using control the unit on/off . IV Using of remote control When you use the remote control the first time, the temperature unit is Fahrenheit. There are four DIP switch states for identifying code of remote control: OFF OFF 2

OFF OFF. At first electrifying, on the remote control screen is below: The temperature showing in this picture is the environment temperature. 1、On/off: under the shut menu, enter , remote control starting, sending remote code to mainframe at the same time, once mainframe receives the signal, buzzer will tweet one time, LCD will show something is below: ON showing in the picture figures current valve being ON state, this state is judged depend on the environment temperature and enactment temperature automatically by remote control which notified through remote code.. When environment temperature ≤ enactment temperature 2℉(or enactment temperature 2℃), the gas valve ON;When environment temperature ≥ enactment temperature 2 ℉ (or enactment temperature 2℃), the gas valve Off; When gas valve changing state, remote control send the control code of gas valve ON/OFF to mainframe. Under the running state ,enter , close the remote control, sending remote code to mainframe at the same time, once mainframe receives the signal, buzzer will tweet one time. 2、 temperature unit conversion setting (Fahrenheit and Celsius): when the appliance is off ( if the appliance is on, press to turn off the appliance), press 3

+ at the same time. If the current temperature unit is Fahrenheit, it will change to Celsius, vice versa. This operation is invalid when the appliance is ON. 3 、 buttons locking setting: when not showing on the LCD, press + , then will occur on the LCD. It denotes that the buttons is locked. All button isn’t useful except + . Press + again, will disappear. It denotes that the buttons is unlocked. Buttons locking setting won’t send the remote code to the appliance. 4、 open/close the background lights on the appliance: when doesn’t show on the LCD, it says that the background lights is off. And press , will occur on the LCD. The remoter will send opening remote mode to the appliance. Then the buzzer will tweet. Press again, on the LCD will disappear. The remoter will send closing remote code to the appliance. Then the buzzer will tweet. 4

5 Temperature setting: When the appliance is on, press , and he symbol on LCD will flicker. Then the temperature setting mode is valid. And press to increase the setting temperature by 1℉. Hold on to increase the setting temperature successively. And press to increase the setting temperature by 1℉. Hold on to increase the setting temperature successively. The range of setting temperature is 41℉—95℉（5℃—35℃）. When setting temperature is 41℉ (5℃), press , then the setting temperature will be 95℉（35℃）. After setting temperature, press to cancel the temperature setting, and on LCD will stop flicker (If don’t press , 12 seconds later, the temperature setting cancelled automatically). This operation don’t send remote code to the appliance. 6 Time setting: when the appliance is on, press , a figure will occur like this: and flickering denote time setting mode is valid. Then press to increase the time by 30 minutes. Hold on to increase the time successively. And press to decrease the time by 30 minutes. Hold on to increase the time successively. The range of the setting time is from 30 minutes to 12hours and 30 minutes. When the setting time is 12:30, press , and the setting time will be 3:00. When the setting time is 00:30, press , and the setting 5

time will be 3:00. After time setting, press again(or no operation in 12 seconds), then on LCD will stop flicker, and it denotes that the time setting is cancelled, and setting of turning off the appliance timely is valid. Counting down from the setting time to 0, the remoter will turn off the appliance. At the same time, the remoter will send the remote code to the appliance. Then the appliance will be turned off. When receiving the remote code, the buzzer on the appliance won’t tweet. In the power off state for fixed time , if you press the button again , it will return the power on state . The operation can not be used in the power off state , and it does not send out the control code. 7、Change the control identify code : When the identify code is the same in both the remote control and the main machine , the main machine can receive the control identify code .There are four DIP buttons for signed the control identify code in the control machine of the main machine , and be signed sixteen different control identify codes . There are four DIP buttons in the remote control as same as in the main machine , the detail of operation as following : Open the cap of the remote control , take the battery , there are four DIP switch , and you can change the state of the remote control by the object for hard and thin long , and change the four DIP switch are same as the control machine , then install the battery , close the cap , so it is be communicated by the new same identify code between the remote control and the control machine in the main machine . 8、The show of the battery in low discharge : When the battery in low discharge , the LCD will be . If you change the new battery , the will be disappearing in the LCD . 9、The LCD and the light of the background : There is the LCD and the blue light of the background in the remote control . In the power on state , the LCD and the blue light of the background will be opened by pressing the any buttons . It is will be closed for the blue light of the background , if the time is out of the twelve seconds for not to press any of buttons in the power on state . In power off state , it can not be opened for the blue light of the background except pressing the button . In the battery in low discharge , it can not be opened for the blue light of the background for pressing any buttons . Ⅴ、Battery ： It is needed three AAA battery for the remote control , and please take the battery for not used for a long time . Please install the battery in the right electrode , the remote control may be damaged for the wrong electrode . 6
