Re: Application letter, Family declaration letter.

We hereby declare that these 3 devices, AEB, AES and AEJ are a family of product with RF
capabilities.

AEB was the device originally certified by FCC and ISED on March 2017.

Later, July 2017, we filed an FCC “Class 2 Permissive Change” and an ISED “Family to a
Previously Certified Model” applications to use the same FCC ID and IC for model AES which
was a variant of the AEB.

Today we request the same. The inclusion of AEJ under a C2PC/Family under the same FCC ID
and IC.

These 3 devices integrate the same chipset from NXP Semiconductors to provide NFC
communication capabilities.

All of them have Bluetooth LE capacity provided by an already FCC and ISED certified module
(module BGM111, FCC ID: QOQBGM111, IC: 5123A-BGM111, in case of AEB and AEJ; module
DirectKey, FCC ID: TCZ-10103751G1, IC: 1175F-10103751G1, in case of AES).

They all 3 models are aesthetically the same in their external appearance.

Model AEJ has a couple more components soldered in the PCB case which have nothing to do
with the radio system. This is due to the model AEJ being able to read a special kind of “HiD
cards” which encode their information in a specific way.

To do this a memory chip called “iClass processor” is installed.

This extra component does not affect the radio performance in any way. Modulations are the
same, frequency range, carrier, current, the antenna …

Sincerely,
