KG Declaration of Similarity We, Siemens, manufacture the WiMAX Residential Modem “Gigaset SX682 WiMAX” USA Version In addition to above we are going to manufacture the WiMAX Residential Modem “Gigaset SE681 WiMAX“ USA Version which is similar to the “Gigaset SX682 WiMAX” USA Version. We, Siemens, declare that: • These two versions are manufactured by us. • These two versions are identical excluding the following differences: - The components needed for the FXS interface in SX682 are not mounted in SE681 (like CODEC, SLIC, RJ11 etc.) and the housing of the SE681 does not have an opening for the RJ11. However, SX682 and SE681 use an identical PCB. - The external PSU for SX682 generates 12V DC, the external PSU for SE681 generates 7V DC. • These differences have no influence on the FCC and UL type approval requirements.
