TO: ALL CLIENTS

Starting from August 19, 1996, products like PC and PC peripherals could use DoC
method for marketing in United States. But the following documents should be
prepared before shipping:

1.   Test report— issued by NVLAP or A2LA accreditated laboratory.
2.   Declaration of Conformity (DoC) Dorm — Should contain importers signature.
3.   Original Design drawing (eg. Schematic and block diagram, Users Manual or
     Service Manual of product)
4.   During production of units, the checking procedure should be described to
     guarantee that each unit of equipment marked under a DoC is identical to the unit
     tested or within variation that can be expected due to quantity production and
     testing on a statistical basis.
5.   All modifications performed due to EMI should be recorded and tested if
     necessary.


Note:
+ Dos label should be stuck on the product. (See attachment)
4 FCC statement should be included on the label as well as Users Manual. (The
    contents are same as that of FCC ID application)
+ The responsible person signing the DoC form should take the responsibility that
    the sold products will have the same EMI characteristics as that of the tested
    sample and thus comply with the FCC limits.
+ The above documents should be submitted to FCC during inspection within 14
    days. If sample requested, the sample should be submitted to FCC within 60
    days. The shipping charges will be bore by the DoC declarer.
+ The above documents should be held by the responsible person signing the DoC.
