About This Guide This guide provides a brief introduction to the Kasa Cam and the Kasa app, as well as regulatory information. Features available in Kasa Smart may vary by model and software version. Kasa Smart availability may also vary by region or ISP. All images, steps, and descriptions in this guide are only examples and may not reflect your actual Kasa Smart experience. Introduction With the Kasa Cam connected to your home network, you can see what happens in your home even when you're away. This keeps your home safe and give yourself a little peace of mind — all while seeing every detail on your phone. You can set up and use your Kasa Cam alone, or use it together with other smart home devices including plugs, bulbs, switches and more. All these can be achieved on the Kasa app, which provides: • Simple Setup - Easily connects your camera to your home network and place it almost anywhere. • Live Video and Two-Way Audio - View 1080P full HD video and connect with your family instantly from anywhere at any time with your phone. • Free Cloud Storage – Record up to two days of video activity per camera at no cost and save favorite moments to your phone. Upgrade options available. • Activity Detection – Immediately alert you whenever it detects motion, keeping you and your family aware of what's going on. 2

Appearance Kasa Cam has a system LED that changes color according to its status, a microphone, a USB micro port and a RESET button. See the explanation below: RESET Button Note: You need to remove the magnetic housing to see the RESET button. • Press and hold for 3 to 15 seconds: System LED Reset to SoftAP mode • Solid amber: • Press and hold for over 15 seconds: Rebooting Reset to Factory mode • Alternating amber and green: USB Micro Port SoftAP Mode Connect the USB cable and power • Flashing red: adapter provided. Connecting to Wi-Fi • Flashing green: Connected to Wi-Fi • Solid green: Microphone Bound to Cloud Built-in internal microphone. • Flashing amber: Note: Do NOT insert objects into Resetting to SoftAP/Factory mode the hole. 3

Set Up Your Camera Follow the steps below to get started with your new camera. Step 1. Download Kasa Step 2. Log In Step 3. Use Your Camera After initial setup is complete, you can view and manage your camera with the Kasa app. View the Live Video You can view your camera from anywhere at any time with your phone. Go to the Devices page, then tap a camera to view the live video. Kasa LIVE 6

Change Camera Settings You can change the settings of your camera to meet various needs. Go to the Devices page, tap a camera, then tap to view and change camera settings. 7

Check Activity Notifications When you receive an activity notification, you can check the live video immediately, or check the recordings at any time. Go to the Activity page to view activity notifications on each date. You can tap for notification settings. Kasa Kasa 8

Control Your Camera Smartly You can easily control your camera together with other smart home devices. With Kasa, your home is never more than a few taps away. For more information, go to the Kasa app. 9
