Subject: Class II Permissive Change for FCC ID: TA8AKRC161592

To Whom It May Concern:

Ericsson AB requests a Class II Permissive Change for the above mentioned FCC Identifier.

The radio operates in the Cellular band as per 47 CFR Part 22 & Part 90.

This radio (Radio 2217 B26D) is designed for use in LTE cellular telephone system. This FDD radio operates in
Band 26D, the transmitter from 859 MHz to 880 MHz and the receiver from 814 MHz to 835 MHz. It supports radio
access technology SR LTE.

It supports channel bandwidths of 1.4, 3, 5 and 10 MHz for LTE. The radio supports modulation types of QPSK,
16QAM, 64QAM and 256 QAM for LTE.

The radio supports spectrum consisting of two or more sub-blocks separated by sub-block gap(s), NCS (None-
Contiguous Spectrum). The radio unit supports carrier aggregation.

The radio has the ability to be used in a RBS system configured for 3GPP MIMO/Spatial multiplexing and beam-
forming technologies for LTE.

This radio will in normal mode operates at a maximum power of 40W per port at the output connector. The radio
has 2 TX ports.

This Permissive Change request for this Radio Unit is to update the maximum power to 40W per port for all
configurations, no hardware change.

Ericsson AB requests confidentiality under CFR 0.459 according to attached letter. We further certify that the
applicant nor any party to the application is subject to a denial of Federal benefits, that includes FCC benefits,
pursuant to section 5301 of the Anti-Drug abuse Act of 1988, 21 U.S.C. Section 862.
