To Whom It May Concern:

Ericsson AB requests a Permissive Change (Type Acceptance) for the above mentioned FCC Identifier.
This base station transceiver (Remote Radio Unit – RRUS 01 B5) is designed for use in GSM, WCDMA and
LTE cellular telephone system. The transmitter will operate from 869 MHz to 894 MHz. It supports Channel
Bandwidth of 1.4, 3, 5 and 10 MHz for LTE. The receiver circuit supports 824 MHz to 849 MHz. This base
station transceiver (RRU) supports modulation type GMSK, 8PSK, 16QAM, 32QAM and AQPSK for GSM,
and QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM for WCDMA and LTE. This base station transceiver (RRU) is appropriate
to use in different Ericsson radio base stations without re-measurement and re-filing when introducing a
new base station type. The base station operates in the personal communications services band as per 47
CFR Part 22 subpart H. It meets the requirements of 3GPP specification for operation in GSM, WCDMA
and LTE cellular systems.
This base station transceiver (RRUS 01 B5) will in normal mode operates at a nominal power out of 20, 40
and 60 watts at the output connector.
This Permissive Change request for this transceiver (RRUS 01 B5) is to include following, specified in
Exhibit 12 Circuit Description:
     1) Supporting LTE;
     2) Supporting MIMO for WCDMA;
     3) Support MSR (Multi Standard Radio) with combination of WCDMA and LTE, GSM and LTE.

This application is only valid for the model specified in the Exhibit 12 circuit description.
Ericsson AB requests confidentiality under CFR 0.459 according to attached letter. We further certify that
the applicant nor any party to the application is subject to a denial of Federal benefits, that includes FCC
benefits, pursuant to section 5301 of the Anti-Drug abuse Act of 1988, 21 U.S.C. Section 862.
