March 31, 2015 Subject: Application for Class II Permissive Change, FCC ID: SWX-XR2 Dear Application Examiner, The purpose of this filing is to apply for a Class II permissive change on the Ubiquiti Networks 2.4GHz XR2 module. The change is required to add a 7.4dBi antenna to the list of approved antennas. The following changes were required from the original grant to continue to meet the requirements of Section 15.247: - Reduced the output power from 0.977 Watts to 0.704 Watts - Reduced the 802.11 channel usage from 2412-2462MHz to 2417-2457MHz. The maximum output power is limited to compliant levels and not configurable by the end-user. Please refer to page 28 of the manual attached to this filing.
