Bowman Drive Buford, GA 30518 Re: FCC ID: SK9PMCR2 To Whom It May Concern: The following application is submitted on behalf of our client, Itron Electricity Metering, Inc., for evaluation of their model PMCR2 for a Class II Permissive Change under FCC Part 15.247 and 15.249. The PMCR2 contains and has been certified with (3) transceivers. These include (1) frequency hopping 900 MHz LAN radio and (2) 2.4 GHz Zigbee radios. The purpose of this Class II Permissive Change is to include co-located modular approved CDMA cellular modem FCC ID: N7N-MC5725. The PCMR2 can be configured with either modular approved GPRS cellular modem FCC ID: N7NMC8790, which was evaluated under the original certification filing, or modular approved CDMA cellular modem FCC ID: N7N-MC5725. The PMCR2 cannot be configured with both modems present. All radios in the device can transmit simultaneously therefore the PMCR2 was evaluated for radiated inter- modulation products and found in compliance. No hardware or electrical changes to the PMCR2 are required for integration of modular approved CDMA cellular modem FCC ID: N7N-MC5725 therefore the internal photos from the original certification remain representative. Modular approved CDMA cellular modem FCC ID: N7N-MC5725 and modular approved GPRS cellular modem FCC ID: N7NMC8790 are interchangeable.
