The confidentiality request applies to the following exhibits: 10-0260 – Schematics.pdf 10-0260 – System Block Diagram.pdf 10-0260 – Theory of Operation.pdf 10-0260 – Internal Photos.pdf 10-0260 – Manual.pdf Confidentiality of the Internal Photos is being requested because this is a non-consumer device which is not accessible by the general public, professionally installed, and is only serviceable by the applicant or designated technicians. Confidentiality of the manual is being requested because the manual is very technical and is not provided to the general public because the general public cannot service the device. The M2 Gateway has been developed at considerable effort and expense by Itron Electricity Metering, Inc. These items are considered as Trade Secrets and therefore public access to the proprietary material could possibly result in duplication of equipment that could severely damage the company’s business advantage.
