June 11, 2019 TÜV SÜD UCB 5945 Cabot Parkway Alpharetta, GA 30005 Re: FCC ID: SK9ITR9002 To Whom It May Concern: The following application is submitted on behalf of our client, Itron Inc., for evaluation of their model ITR9002 for a class II permissive change certification under FCC Part 15.247. The ITR9002 communications module is built on Itron’s IPv6 OpenWay platform.The module utilizes the 900 MHz radio frequency (RF) operation band. For this application the 150.0 kbps and the 19.2 kbps data rates will not be used. The purpose of this Class II Permissive Change is to add a new antenna and host combination. For this Class II Permissive Change, the ITR9002 was integrated into the Itron, Inc. Pole Mounted Router (PMR) host. The new 900 MHz antenna is an external monopole antenna attached to host. Other transmitters that are associated with the PMR host include a cellular modem (FCC ID: N7NEM7455), a second 900 MHz transmitter (FCC ID: SK9NIC), and Wi-Fi (FCC ID: SK9WF111). Radiated inter-modulation testing was performed for all combinations of simultaneous transmission and found to comply.
