■ How to use

1. Basic capacity (read/write)
○ There are no installation or set up, all the OS system except Windows 98/SE will recognize it by using Plug & Play.
○ Insert or use extension cable, put ZIIQ DRIVE into USB port it will recognize itself,
   Then, it will create "removable" icon at a folder which in "my computer" under the recognized condition you can use
   the function like read/write/copy and so on as a hard disk.
○ For windows 98/se user. Please install Win98driver in the CD before use

2. Security program (partition/making password)
○ You can use normal/security territory and protect filled data by using password
○ Must install security program in the CD before use
○ Generally you can choose normal/security/normal + security mode and you can make a password which is for using
   basic capacity in security area.

3. Write-Protect (Write-Protect Switch)

○ ZIIQ DRIVE has Write-Protect Switch and it can protect date.
○ if you convert the Write-Protect Switch you could read but not write and delete

4. Boot disk, function of disk restore
○ You can use capacities of booting disk and disk restore by using security program.
   (If you need more information please go to "MANUAL" section in the CD)

5. Safe removal
○ Please keep the removal order or there will be a loss of data
○ You can remove the device after you finish the action with the device. However, in Windows ME and Windows 2000,
   please follow the safe removal procedure. You can find a safe removal icon in your computer’s notification area.
    Double click the “safe removal” icon; the “Unplug or Eject Hardware” window will be pop up. You can select the device
   you want to remove. Then, click the “Stop” button. After that you can unplug the device from the USB port of your
   computer.
