Subject: Sonos Inc., FCC ID: SBVCR001, Assessment NO.: AN05T5034,
Notice#1
Question # 1 : This is a 802.11g device, by default, with 11b capability as well. The test report shows the EUT was tested at
802.11g mode only. Based upon following FCC QA, both modes need to be tested, please submit additional test data for 11b
mode.
Q: A primary question is if a device has both 802.11b (DSSS) and 802.11g (OFDM)
capability, must both modulation modes be tested for EMC compliance?
A: Yes, if a device is capable of operating with two different modulation types, both types
     need to be tested.

ANS 1 This product by virtue of Sonos software does not have capability of operating on 802.11b, it can only operate on 802.11g.
It does not associate with any other WiFi devices except for similar Sonos products also limited to 802.11g operation by virtue of
software.
Question # 2 : The test report (page 6) indicates "The EUT is a modified version of FCC ID: SBVCR001", which is not true. It might
be "SBVCR000" instead. Please confirm.

ANS 2 There was a typo in the report, the correct ID is SBVCR000
