See figure below. All accessories only control push to talk, microphone, and loudspeaker signals. There is no RF signal available in the top connector on the radio. The accessories shown in the two tables below may be connected to top connector on the radio. These accessories basically have equivalent functionality. The variation is in brand name and how for example a headset interfaces mechanically to a helmet. From a SAR point of view all accessories perform equal. They are equivalent to a piece of wiring connected to the top connector in the vicinity of the antenna on the radio.
