McMurdo RS is based on the same cabinet and electrical construction as the SAILOR S$P3520 with minor exceptions which are: The colour of the cabinet is changed to orange and the keyboard has undertaken a small cosmetic change. McMurdo R5 VHF can use a rechargeable battery TT—1707A which has a different model name but is electrically/mechanically identical to the SAILOR battery B3502 McMurdo R5 VHF can use the battery chargers TT—1704A andTT—1705A which has a different model name but are electrically/mechanically identical to SAILOR battery chargers CH3507 and CH3508.
