Approval Type Certification Equipment Type Low Power Unlicensed Transmitter Rule Part 15.247 Overview The MLOG operates in the 902 – 928 MHz band with a peak output power of 21.38 mW EIRP. It is a hybrid spread spectrum transmitter that utilizes five hopping channels. The radio is part of a data logger that is installed on water service pipes. The device is housed in a plastic waterproof enclosure. It is battery operated with no provision for connection to the AC mains either directly, or indirectly from another device. The radio utilizes a single integral PCB etch antenna. This configuration satisfies the requirements of 47 CFR 15.203. The receiver portion of this radio transceiver has been verified to FCC 15B. The approval for this type of device is being approved as outlined in the FCC Public Notice of May 16, 2002. Recommendation All items have been resolved and completed to my satisfaction; therefore I recommend this application for approval.
