SAR evaluation for Yulong Computer Telecoms Scientific Co CoolPAD 728G2
FCC id: R38YLT728G2
1 have reviewed performed the SAR Evaluation and find it meets the requirements.

This product is contains 2 1900 MHz GSM/GPRS transmitters each with its own integral antenna.

The highest reported SAR was 0.750 W/kg Head SAR at 1850.2 MHz from the Antenna at the
bottom of the equipment.

The highest reported Head SAR for the other transmitter was 0.338 W/kg at 1850.2 MHz.

The highest reported Body SAR was 0.342 W/kg at 1850.2 MHz mode with 1.5 cms separation
from the Antenna at the top of the equipment.

The highest reported Body SAR for the other transmitter was 0.260 W/kg at 1850.2 in GPRS with
1.5 cms separation.

I attended the May 2003 FCC Workshop and have used the FCC provided checklist for the SAR
evaluation.

Please note:

1: Co—transmission

While the Unit supports 2 separate transmitters the Radio Test Laboratory and the client have
confirmed that the equipment does not co—transmit.
There exists a state when an incoming call on one GSM may be alerting while a call is active on
the other. We are advised that on accepting the second call the first is automatically
disconnected.

Following the guidance to TCBs over "Handover to Other networks" { In particular from GSM to a n
internal phone system } we consider this to be a similar transitory condition.

2: Antenna Locations

One Antenna is located at the top of the unit while the other is at the bottom.
While for Head SAR the one nearest the earpiece should be expected to be higher, tests were
also conducted using the lower Antenna to take the tilt position into consideration.

3: Accessories
There were no beit clips/holsters or similar listed in the User Manual; neither was there any
alternate battery option.

The Body SAR was tested with the Handsfree kit in place.

Yours sincerely
