SEL-3022

Antenna Information

  a) The SEL-3022 complies to part 15.203 of the FCC rules by the use of a Reverse
     Polarity connector.

  b) The SEL-3022 has 2 antenna options. One is a ½ wave 2.4GHz mobile antenna
and the other is a base mounted 2.4GHz antenna.
        - The ½ wave mobile antenna is a Mobile Mark PSKN-2400 model with a
published 2.3dBi maximum gain. The maximum output power of the
Wistron KCJ-1 radio module is 17dBm. Assuming some loss in the cable
and connector, the maximum transmitted output power is 17dBm + 2.3dB
            – 0.5dB = 18.8dBm.
        - The base mounted antenna is an Antenex TRAB24003 model with a
published maximum gain of 3dBi. Again, subtracting losses in the
connectors and cable, the maximum transmitted power is 17dBm +3dB –
1.3dB = 18.7dBm. The maximum output power allowed is 20dBm or
            100mW.

  c) Antenna mfr model gain type
     Mobile Mark PSKN-2400 2.3dBi ½ wave dipole
     Antenex TRAB24003 3dBi field diversity
