To whom it may concern,

The following attestation with regards to modular transmitters is accurate with regards to this
submittal.

1. The modular transmitter has its own RF shielding around the transmitter portion of the
device. It has been tested attached to a host but outside of the host as much as was
practical and still be able to function properly. This device when tested in this manner
was verified as compliant with the requirements as set forth in CFR 47 Part 15 for an
unintentional radiator.

2. The modular transmitter has buffered modulation/data inputs to ensure that the module
will comply with Part 15 requirements under conditions of excessive data rates or over-
modulation. Please refer to the schematics for further clarification.

3. The modular transmitter has its own power supply regulation. Please refer to the
schematics.

4. The modular transmitter uses the U.FL connector as the “unique” antenna coupler

5. The modular transmitter was tested in a stand-alone configuration as much as is
practical. During the tests the unit parasitically derived power from the host PC.
In the actual configuration this device will be powered from a separate dc supply.
There is no connection either directly or indirectly to the AC Mains

6. The modular transmitter shall be labeled with its own FCC ID number. An
additional label shall be supplied to be placed on the outside of the device into which the
module is installed. Both FCC labels have been included in this submittal for review.

7. The modular transmitter shall comply with any specific rule or operating requirements
applicable to the transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions
along with the module to explain any such requirements. A copy of these instructions
must be included in the application for equipment authorization. Please review the
attached manual.

8. The modular transmitter complies with all applicable RF exposure requirements.
A copy of the MPE calculations have been provided in this submittal. The
required information shall be included in the documentation, the following
statement shall be included. Please refer to the attached manual.

FCC Radiation Exposure Statement:
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled
environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance
20cm between the radiator & your body.
