                                     RF exposure considerations

From KDB 447498 D01 v03r03 “Mobile and Portable Device RF Exposure Procedures and Equipment
Authorization Policies”

A device may be used in portable exposure conditions with no restrictions on host platforms when either
the source-based time-averaged output power is ≤ 60/f(GHz) mW or all measured 1-g SAR are < 0.4
W/kg.

This device is measured to have a conducted RF power output of 22 mW in the band 2402 – 2480 MHz.
The limit for portable exposure conditions from KDB 447497 (above) is 60/2.441 GHz = 24.6 mW.

Therefore, the device may be installed by OEM users with no restrictions on host platforms where the
combination of cable loss and antenna gain in the operating band does not exceed 24.6 mW,

The antenna used for this transmitter must not be co-located with any other antenna or
transmitter within a host device, except in accordance with FCC multi-transmitter product
procedures.
