RF EXPOSURE AssESSMENT

Exemption limits for routine evaluation — SAR Evaluation

SAR evaluation is required if the separation distance between the user and/or bystander and the antenna
and/or radiating element of the device is less than or equal to 20cm, except when the device operates at or
below the applicable output power level (adjusted for tune—up tolerance) for the specified separation
distance defined in Table 1 (RSS—102 Issue 5, c. 2.5.1).

Output power level shall be higher of the maximum conducted or equivalent isotropically radiated power
(e.i.r.p.) source—based, time—averaged output power.

Exemption limits for routine evaluation — RF exposure evaluation

RF exposure evaluation is required if the separation distance between the user and/or bystander and the
device‘s radiating element is greater than 20cm, except when the device operates as follows:

    — at or above 300 MHz and below 6 GHz and source—based, time—averaged e.i.r.p. of the device is
equal to or less than 1.31 x 102 § W (adjusted for tune—up tolerance), where f is in MHz

Assessment results:

Device maximum power (e.i.r.p) is 21.1 dBm = 129 mW

Device fulfil exemption of SAR evaluation at »40mm separation distance according to table 1. in clause
5.2.1.

Exemption for RF exposure evaluation at 20cm separation distance:

0.129 W < 1.31 * 102 * 2437 MHz®6%%4 w < 2.70 W

ConcLusION

The analysis shows that the device qualifies for exemption from the routine evaluation limits in section 2.5
of RSS—102 Issue 5.
