Operational Description The T651-MIC is a wireless, wideband tag designed for use in the real-time inventory and tracking of both indoor and outdoor assets. Applications for the tag include hospitals, warehouses, sea freight, supermarkets, retail stores, robotic vehicles, manufacturing and security. The T651-MIC tag utilizes a wideband, pulsed waveform compliant with FCC Part 15.250. Individual tags are programmed at the factory with an unique ID code which can then be associated with the specific item to be tracked. The tag transmits a packet of information which includes tag ID and battery status information. Tag operational life, on a single button cell Lithium battery, is typically 5 years minimum. The T651-MIC is used in conjunction with the Multispectral Solutions, Inc. (MSSI) Sapphire product line – DART, DIMENSION and VISION.
