~‘s—iridium Everywhere TUV SUD BABT TCB Octagon House, Segensworth Road, Fareham, Hampshire, PO15 5RL Ref: Declaration of Class 2 Permissive Change to original model FCC: Q639603N Dear Sir or Madame, This letter is to advise that the new model 9602N is derivative of the original model 9603N. The principal changes to the 9603N design are: 1. The addition of a receive feed through path from the Antenna port to the GPS Receive port. This enables an external GPS module to share the same antenna as the 9602N. 2. Changes to the form—factor and casing. 3. Removal of an internal screening can as the screening on the 9602N is provided by the metal casing. It should be noted that the transmitter performance and functionality is not affected by these changes and that the changes to the PCB layout have been kept to a minimum. A detailed list of changes to the 9603N design and a description of the regulatory testing carried out on the 9602N can be found in the attached document [P2049—TM—005 ‘9602N—9603N Change Description‘].
