Hi Roland,

You are correct in that the correct FCC ID for the Novatel Wireless CDMA radio
is PKRNVWES720.

When I generated the Motion FCC ID I followed the following legend:

Q3Q = Motion Grantee Code

HW = Hardware

NVEX720 = Novatel Wireless Ex720 {Novatel offers the same module for both Sprint
and Verizon, so I chose an “x” in front of the module identifier giving me
flexibility to support both Verizon or Sprint since the modules are the same but
as far as the grants are concerned the FCC ID for each supplier would be
PKRNVWES720 = Sprint and PKRNVWV720 = Verizon}

Ollie,

Can you please update page 3 of the test report to reflect the correct FCC ID
for the Novatel Wireless CDMA module and pass a new copy to Roland?

Don,

For the sake of the TCB certification of this application, I need to upload to
the FCC website the test report on file for the certified radio module, and I am
having difficulty identifying the correct device.

The test report for Motion Computing FCC ID: Q3QHWNVWEX720 lists on page 3 the
internal radio module as:

Novatel Communications FCC ID: HWNVWEX720 and

"Original application" FCC ID: PKRNVWEX720

These do not match up to any existing FCC Grants, but the problem may be a
simple typo.

1) HWN is the Grantee Code for Binfeld Engineering, and not Novatel, according
to the FCC website.

2) PKR is the correct Grantee Code for Novatel, but there is no FCC ID:
PKRNVWEX720

There IS a grant for FCC ID: PKRNVWES720, which appears to have the identical
properties noted in the Form 731. Please confirm that this is the correct
module. If so, the test report should be modified to show the correct internal
module, and the reference to FCC ID: HWNVWEX720 should be deleted or explained.
