Attestation Letter Date: 2010.01.18 We Netgear Incorporated hereby declare that this application comply with KDB 178919 Class II Permission change and CFR 2.1043 requirements. FCC ID: PY308200087 Original Grant Date: 06/24/2008 Now a class 2 permission change was requested for the referenced product. The description of changes to the product is as follows: 1). the transceiver chip set was upgraded from cx50221 to cx50321. 2). the flash was changed from TSOP48 to TSOP48&TSOP56. 3). some matched components outside of chipset were changed, such as capacitor and resister. According with information listed, there have been no changes to the RF modulation and frequency range, and the changes comply with KDB 178919 clause 2 c), i. The new chip component is pin for pin compatible. ii. The new chip has the same basic function as the old chip; from an external perspective (Internal circuitry may differ.). iii. No change in radio parameters has occurred. iv. The same conditions apply when a small area (approximately the same as the chip) of the PCB is replaced with an equivalent chip. In addition to the above, spurious emission, conducted power output and radiation band-edge were performed to verify efficiency for the changes.
