DWG NO 3233305 SH 3 1. SCOPE This specification establishes the requirements for decals for the Active Antenna Unit. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 Non-Government Documents The following documents form a part of the specification to the extent specified herein. In the event of any conflict between this document and the reference documents, this document shall govern. 3. REQUIREMENTS Materials shall be as specified herein. Materials and markings shall not blister, crack, or flow when exposed to temperatures from -40 deg C to +75 deg C. Materials shall be Flexcon 4 Mil White Vinyl with V23 acrylic permanent adhesive. 3.1 Dimensions And Colors Dimensions and colors shall be in accordance with Figure 1 and 2. The color of the text in this drawing is black. 3.2 Marking Decals shall be marked as shown in Figure 1 and 2. They shall be worded as shown with the number of lines as shown. DWG NO 3233305 SH 4 3.3 Tolerances Tolerances of dimensions shall be +/- .05 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Inspection Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order. The manufacturer is responsible for the performance of all inspections necessary to ensure that the item meets the dimensional, material and finish, marking, and workmanship requirements for this specification. The supplier may use their own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements. However, the procuring activity reserves the right to approve said facilities. The procuring activity reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in this specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.2 Final Acceptance Final acceptance shall be at the procuring activity. 5. PACKAGING Packaging shall be adequate to provide protection against any damage during shipment from the supply source to the ultimate using facility. Each package shall be marked with the manufacturer’s part number and the manufacturer’s identification. The markings shall be legible and permanent. 6. NOTES Identification of the suggested source(s) of supply heron is not to be construed as a guarantee of present or future availability as a source of supply for the item(s).
