Subject: Description of Permissive Change To whom it may concern, Pursuant to CFR 2.1043, Edimax Technology Co Ltd, hereby requests a Class II Permissive Change for the following project(s): FCC ID: NDD9576791401 (UNII Grant date: 03/14/2016, DTS Grant date: 12/12/2014) The changes filed under this application are: 1.) This project is a Permissive Change for the purpose of upgrade standards version for 5150~5250 MHz and 5725~5850 MHz according to FCC CFR part 15 subpart E, §15.407. 2.) Transmit power has been adjusted by software/firmware to comply with the UNII new rules, and these power settings cannot be changed by end-user/installer. 3.) AC Adaptor (Brand Name: APD, Model Name: WA-30J12R) added 4.) The conducted DTS output power remains the same with DTS filing dated 12/12/2014 for operation in 2.4G bands. 5.) Both DFS bands (5260~5320 and 5500~5700 MHz) are not affected by this change. There are no changes in hardware of existing RF relevant portion.
