Projected use of the Novatel Wireless Expedite G301, FCC ID: NBZNRM-EG301 Applications intended to use the Novatel Wireless Expedite G301 module, FCC ID NBZNRM- EG301, are those designed to provide machine-to-machine communications for fixed and mobile environments. Original Equipment Manufacturers will integrate the ExpediteG301 into their device for the following vertical applications: • Telematics/Mobile Resource Management/ Automated Vehicle Location (AVL) & Fleet Control - a fixed device is installed in a vehicle which allows the vehicle to communicate with external devices. The device tracks the mobility of the vehicle utilizing GPS and tracking software. The device also provides field productivity tools for dispatch, work force productivity tools, and sales force automation and supply chain management. • Telemetry – fixed application for remote monitoring of events. The application provides real time data acquisition without human intervention. The module is integrated into a device and the antenna is external. o Vending and dispensing machines o Automated Meter Reading (AMR)- gas, electricity, water o Intelligent Transportation Systems/Traffic Management o Security o Asset monitoring – remote diagnostic reporting • Computer Integration – application-specific mobile computing, wireless and bar code data capture solutions that provide companies with the ability to manage information at the point of activity.
