This transmitter operates as a remote unit as part of a system along with base station interface unit as described in this filing. This device is authorized to operate only as part of a distributed-antenna booster system installed in buildings. This filing has compliance demonstration information and test data only for SISO (single-input single-output) booster system configurations; additional equipment authorization is required to allow this device to be used in MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) industrial booster systems. Users and installers must be provided with appropriate antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions, including antenna co-location requirements for satisfying RF exposure compliance. The antenna used for this transmitter is to be fixed-mounted on indoor structures. The single unit RF Exposure compliance for the device was based on maximum antenna gain 4.9 dBi with minimum separation distance 60 cm. RF exposure compliance must need to be addressed at the time of licensing as required by the responsible FCC Bureau(s), including antenna co-location requirements of §1.1307(b) (3) of the rules.
