Re: Certification for Schrader—Bridgeport Remote Tire Pressure Transmitter Model: MRXTG224AMO1 FCC ID: MRXTG224AMO01 CANADA: RF EXPOSURE The subjest device is a Low Power Device Transmitter and is subject to FCC radiation limits in 15.231(e) and IC limits in RSS—210, Sec. 6.1.1. At the frequency of operation of 315 MHz, the maximum allowed field at 3 meters, for both FCC and IC, is 67.7 dBuV/m. This corresponds to an EIPR of —27.5 dBm or 0.002 mW. Assuming a model of apoint source radiator, the power density would be 0.0006 mW/cm2 at 0.5 cm distance, a distance that is well inside the plastic case of the device. FCC This estimate definitely meets the FCC guideline of 1 mW/cm2. IC Since the radiated power is less than 200 mW, the device is exempt from RF Exposure regulations (RSS—102, 4.2).
