Ultratech Engineering Labs Inc. 3000 Bristol Circle Oakville, Ontario L6H 6G4 Date: June 2, 2017 To Whom It May Concern Subject: Justification Letter for Expanded Frequency Range 136 – 174MHz Applicant: Futurecom Systems Group FCC ID: LO6-DVRSVHF Dear Sir/Madam, Futurecom Systems Group Inc. understands FCC VHF spectrum under Part 90. We would like to certify DVRS VHF for the entire 136 – 174MHz spectrum, including Part 90 “extended” frequencies. The DVRS VHF is used by Federal and Public Safety agencies and the Military operating in spectrum covered by NTIA instead of FCC Part 90. The government agencies and the Military purchase their equipment from commercial equipment manufacturers. Having the whole 136 – 174MHz frequency spectrum listed on the FCC Grant allows these agencies and the Military to purchase the DVRS VHF. As per FCC KDB Guidance # 634817, an alternate to listing exact frequencies, we, Futurecom Systems Group Inc., acknowledges that FCC rules will be violated if the device operates on unauthorized frequencies.
