Marchs 29, 2018 Equipment Authorization Branch Federal Communications Commission Columbia, MD 21046 Regarding: Application for certification for FCC id: LF53058, LF53023, LF58637, LF597713, LF597714, LF537601, LF537602, LF537612 Gentlemen: We are seeking a Non-Routine Request for permanent confidentiality for our internal photos exhibit, block diagram and electrical schematic. The reasons are for the immediate protection of patients and to protect intellectual property related to the implant internal hardware. In addition, we seek approval under Section 15 submission for labeling deviation. The FCC ID number associated with the transmitter and the information required by Section 2 of the FCC Rules will be placed in the instruction manual for the transmitter, in lieu of being placed directly on the transmitter. The device being implanted in the human body makes marking the device with supplemental information a manufacturing hardship and additional safety risks.
