Original Grant date: Sept. 27, 2012

Applicant: Cisco Systems Inc.
Dear Examiner,

This is to request a Class III permissive change for FCC ID: LDKTG2050
Cisco declares that there are no changes to the security description that was filed with the initial filing. The
only change is to the software and is described below.
The major change filed under this application is:
Change #1 We are removing the bands requiring DFS specifically 5250—5350 and 5500—5700 from the
radio leaving the 5180—5240 on the part 15.409 grant.
Change #2 We would also request that the 5745—5825 band be added to the part 15.409 grant it is currently
granted under part 15.247. There are no changes in this band to the Power PSD or OOBE. The device meets
all the requirements for Power, PSD, and the OOBE for part 15.247 for all antenna configurations. There are
no changes to the hardware.
Cisco understands that this system will not be sold after March 2"" 2020 with antenna gains less than 10dbi.
With regard to the module it is only used in Cisco equipment and is not sold separately or offered as a
replacement or installation in 3party equipment.

If you have any questions regarding this application, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely yours,
