Att: OET Dept.
Ref: FCC Class 2 Permission Change for FCC ID: LDKIW3702
       (Original Grant Date: 06/02/2015)
       Applicant: Cisco Systems, Inc.
Dear Examiner,
This is to request a Class II permissive change for FCC ID: LDKIW3702 originally granted on
06/02/2015. These changes are required in order to introduce a new model with extended
temperature support and outdoor/hazardous location support.
The major changes filed under this application are:
Change #1 Replaced plastic enclosure with aluminum that includes resistive heater and
component heat-sinking to allow for industrial, hazloc, and extended
               temperature range installation.
Change #2 Replaced power supply so that product can support DC input as well as PoE+
               input and output.
Change #3 Replaced RP-TNC connectors with N-Female connectors.
Change #4 Eliminate 5dBi omni antenna option and added 7dBi outdoor omni antenna
Note: In no way was the motherboard assembly or the radio board assembly changed with
respect to this change list. They are still the original hardware and electrical design covered by
FCC ID: LDK102087P
Note: The original FCC ID and grant and the new FCC ID and grant belong to the same grantee,
Cisco Systems and the grantee retains full responsibility for security and configuration control
for both FCC IDs and grants.
Note: The DFS and NII operation have not changed from the previously granted products. The
new antenna is the same type and HIGHER gain than that which was previously approved for
the EUT’s DFS operation.
If you have any questions regarding this application, please feel free to contact me.

Best Regards
