To Whom It May Concern:

Question 1) This is a DTS application. However you have submitted the UNII and DFS Test
Report. In addition there are frequencies in this application that are a duplicate of the UNII
frequencies. There is no 2.4 GHz data but the User's Manual indicates that the device has this
capability. Submit a list of frequencies and power to be listed on the Grant for the DTS portion of
this composite application. Submit a DTS Test Report.

Response: This device is a composite UNII/DTS device. The UNII frequencies supported
are 5180-5320 MHz and 5500-5700 MHz. The DFS frequencies are 5745-5825MHz.
The test report included data for both the UNII and DTS frequencies.

The user manual includes 2.4GHz information because the access point (host) for this
module also supports an additional 2.4GHz radio module approved under a separate
        FCC ID (LDK102060).

Question 2) The User's Manual indicated operation on a channel frequency of 5825 MHz. The
UNII test report only has power measured at this frequency. This frequency is not in the UNII
band. If 5825 MHz is to be used it must be included in the DTS application. Please explain and
include data as appropriate in the Test Report.

Response: 5825MHz should be included in the DTS portion of the application. All
required data for 5825MHz is included in the test report.

Question 3) The UNII portion of this composite application requested unlimited Modular
Approval. However there is no information in this application to support this. What is your intent?

Response: This module is used in the AIR-AP1251access point in combination with an
additional 2.4GHz radio module. The intent is to offer either one or the other, or both,
radio modules in the access point either as a factory configuration or as field upgrades.

Question 4) This is a new original software defined radio (SDR) application. Is this your intent?
Note that this limits you to one Class 2 permissive change in the future.

Response: Yes this is the intent.
