                         Brakebuddys A.L.E.R.T. System
The .LER.T. system allows you to monitor the braking in your towed vehicle
conveniently at any time. This system consists of two key parts, which must be installed
correctly for the .L.ERT. System to work properly These pans are the Transmitter and
the Receiver. x

The Receiver (Larger) simply
Velcro‘s in a convenient place
and plugs into the 12v accessory
adapter in your motorcoach for
power.

The Remote Transmitter (Smaller)
simply plugs into the white and the
black banana jack on the top of the
BrakeBuddy for power.

After installing the BrakeBuddy and
Alert System, a simple test should be
performed every time. Have someone
push the red test button on the
BrakeBuddy and hold it for at least ten seconds while you are in your motor-home looking at
the indicator light on the Alert. The indicator light should illuminate for the full ten seconds
without blinking. Do not do this while motor home is moving! The Alert System will
activate with the breakaway, test button or when braking.

If the alert does not function with this test call our tech support at 1—800—470—2287.
