To Whom It May Concern:


The applicant hereby requests to have the frequency range 403 MHz-406 MHz; 406.1MHz-473 MHz appear on the
FCC Grant of Equipment Authorization for a part 90 certification for KEAXLDM. This equipment is a data radio that is
primarily part of precision instrumentation that is used for precision differential GPS. Local, State and Federal
organizations, government bodies, and their various departments, the USGS, user organizations and the military may
use this device in the extended frequency range. This device will also be sold in non-US markets where use of the
extended frequencies may be authorized. The applicant also requests that the grant note “EF” be included on the
Grant of Equipment Authorization for KEAXDLM, to indicate Extended Frequencies.

This equipment is designed so that users are permitted only to operate at authorized frequencies, RF power levels,
and bandwidth, as shown on a valid operator’s license. Users must take their product to a licensed dealer who will
inspect their operator’s license and install permitted frequencies.

The applicant will notify the end users in the US that:

1. The device is to be programmed only for the frequencies allowed by the user’s radio station authorization.

2. It is a violation of FCC rules if the device operates on unauthorized frequencies

3. This device uses extended frequencies and may contain functions that are not operational in US Territories, except
as noted in the filing.
