The applicant hereby requests to have the frequency range 390 - 470 MHz appear on
the FCC Grant of Equipment Authorization for a Part 90 certification. Local, state and
Federal organizations, government bodies and their various departments, user
organizations and the military may use this device in the extended frequency range.
This device will also be sold in non-US markets where use of the extended frequencies
may be authorized. The applicant also requests that the grant note code “EF” be
included on the Grant of Equipment Authorization, to indicate Extended Frequencies.

The applicant will notify the end users in the US that:

   1. The device is to be programmed only for the frequencies allowed by the user’s
      radio station authorization.

   2. It is a violation of FCC rules if the device operates on unauthorized frequencies.

   3. This device uses extended frequencies and may contain functions that are not
      operational in US Territories, except as noted in the filing.
