Grant Date: 10/20/05) On behalf of Itronix Corporation is a Class II Permissive Change application for the FCC ID: KBCIX600-IWLBT (IX600 Series Rugged Laptop PC with Bluetooth and WLAN) to add a co-located Dual-Band CDMA/EV-DO PCMCIA Modem (Model: V620 manufactured by Novatel Wireless, Inc.) utilizing an internal SkyCross meandering line antenna installed behind the LCD display. The CDMA/EV-DO PCMCIA Modem is previously certified in the IX600 Laptop PC with Limited Modular Approval under the FCC ID: KBCIX-NW620 and includes co-location with the Bluetooth FCC ID: KBCIX600-IWLBT. The Bluetooth and Dual-Band CDMA/EV-DO PCMCIA Modem can transmit simultaneously. Radiated spurious emissions measurements were evaluated for co-transmit operation and the results were in compliance. Co-transmit MPE calculations are included within this filing. The WLAN portion of the original composite certification FCC ID: KBCIX600-IWLBT does not co-transmit with the Dual-Band CDMA/EV-DO PCMCIA Modem described in this application (please refer to applicant’s Radio Management Attestation submitted with this application) and therefore this Class II Permissive Change is submitted for the Bluetooth portion only. Submitted within this application is the TCB Form 731, applicant’s agency authorization, applicant’s radio management attestation, co-transmit MPE RF exposure calculation data, FCC ID label(s) and location(s), internal and external device photographs, and the Radio-Specific Safety Information (provided to the user in hard copy format).
